MM Creative Management Announces Two New Casting Opportunities for Daring Greatly

MM Creative Management, in partnership with Film Volt Group and iCogitate Productions Inc., is delighted to announce two new casting opportunities for the upcoming UK–Canada co-production Daring Greatly, directed by Andy Morahan (Highlander III, Guns N’ Roses: November Rain) and written by Julianne White.
These new roles Elderly Woman (Neighbour) and Dom (Owner of Dom’s Auto Parts) mark an exciting chance for Canadian and UK actors to join the ensemble of this gripping true-crime psychological thriller, now in advanced pre-production.
Role 1: Elderly Woman (Neighbour)
A small but powerful moment in the story, this scene captures the chilling intersection of kindness and danger. The Elderly Woman lives near the serial killer and becomes unintentionally entangled in his world when she knocks on his door after hearing disturbing noises.
Playing Age: 65–80
Gender: Female
Ethnicity: Open (Canadian or British heritage preferred)
Accent: Canadian or neutral British
Tone: Warm, caring, instinctive a single, unforgettable encounter that heightens the film’s tension.
Role 2: Dom – Owner of Dom’s Auto Parts
Dom is a no-nonsense Toronto auto yard owner whose honesty places him right in the middle of a police investigation when detectives trace a maroon Dodge van back to his shop. A working-class man with integrity and dry humour, Dom represents the grounded humanity of everyday Canadians caught in extraordinary circumstances.

Accent: Toronto or Northern English authentic and natural
Tone: Straightforward, down-to-earth, quietly moral.
